Introduction
To lead with vision, individual leader can deliver the vision easily through story telling; whether it is a success story or story of failures. Any company managers or supervisors can learn to tell a story in order to inspire employees and boost performance. In order for employees to be motivated through storytelling, three steps need to be taken: Tell the Story, Act the Story and Live the Story.
The course will prep the learners with three modules in 9 chapters:
Module 1: Tell the Story.
Module 2: Act the Story
Module 3: Live the Story.
Course Outline
Module 1: Tell the Story
Chapter 1: Theme to communicate vision, values and expectations to team members.
Chapter 2: Story Board by identify organizational values that support strategic priorities and resulted effective functioning team with a common purpose.
Chapter 3: Script Writing to role model behaviors which demonstrate application of organizational values in the workplace.
Module 2: Act the Story
Chapter 4: SMART Delivery to review organizational objectives and business plans and identify the requirements of team and to create team operational plan to support team progress toward defined objectives.
Chapter 5: Action lead team planning activities to identify trends and issues impacting on team and its productivity.
Chapter 6: Work within the budget and time to market by allocate resources required for implement of objectives
Module 3: Live the Story
Chapter 7: Communicate clear, inspiring goals, plans and priorities to ensure team member support and buy in
Chapter 8: Model strong leadership by demonstrating application of organizational values, behaviors and governance priorities in all actions.
Chapter 9: Engage employees to contribute to of strategic priorities.
