SNEF Training Institute focuses on courses and programs which every employer and member can benefit from to skill up their workforce. SNEF works closely with WDA, employers, and many relevant or related training program providers or partners. SNEF is a WDA accredited CET centre. SNEF-SMU CEO seminar on the Art and Science of Productivity Leadership
Prime Minister Lee announced the launch of the SNEF productivity leadership and trust initiative at the opening of the SNEF 30th anniversary summit on 28 July 2010. This SNEF-SMU (the Singapore Management University) CEO seminar on the Art and Science of Productivity Leadership is a first of many more initiatives for employers. The seminar comprises of two half day modules, and is as follows:-
MODULE 1: THE ART OF PRODUCTIVITY
(Wednesday, 1 September 2010, 9.00am to 12.30pm @ SMU)

This half-day session will focus on how the CEO can enact an organization culture that focuses on building the software to create productivity gains. In particular, it will provide CEOs with a framework to kick start the productivity revolution; that of changing the mindset, values and beliefs that will sustain such a movement in the long run. We will also examine management practices across organizations and their impact on talent management as people are the main force in the productivity quest. Case studies and interactive discussions will be the main modes of delivery. Participants from the programme will understand what it means to make productivity a central value in the organization and more importantly, CEOs will learn how to empower others in the organization to be positive forces in thinking out of the box and in taking initiative to shape the productivity movement.
MODULE 2: THE SCIENCE OF PRODUCTIVITY
(Thursday, 16 September 2010, 9.00am to 12.30pm @ SMU)

Building on Module 1, this half-day session will focus on building the hardware (operations & process excellence, technology and innovation) and putting performance management in place to create measurable productivity gains.
Pedagogy & Highlight
A variety of teaching techniques, including highly interactive discussion, engaging lectures, case studies and exercises will be employed to enhance the learning experience. The two modules would also feature panel discussions involving invited guest CEOs who had successfully implemented productivity initiatives within their companies.

Normal Course Fee:
S$500.00 + S$35.00(GST) per module, or S$1,000.00 + S$70.00(GST) for both modules.
SNEF will fund 1 CEO per SNEF Member’s Company at 50% of the fee for the 2 modules, subject to a funding cap of $500.00 per SNEF Member’s Company.
SNEF Member Company:
For one module, a SNEF member’s CEO need only pay S$250.00 + S$17.50(GST).
For both modules, a SNEF member’s CEO pays S$500.00 + S$35.00(GST).
