COURSE AUDIENCE
IT outsourcing practitioners who intend to enhance their outsourcing skills.
PRE-REQUISITE
Participants should have at least three years’ experience in IT outsourcing and formal project management training.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
Outsourcing is critical to the growth and success of many companies. Harvard Business Review identified outsourcing “as one of the most important management ideas and practices of the past 75 years”. Market research has revealed that more than 80% of companies expect to increase their investment in outsourcing. With increasing reliance on outsourcing to meet business needs, there’s a high demand for IT outsourcing professionals with the relevant skills to manage outsourced projects. Such skills are vital for ensuring that outsourcing is well aligned to realise a company’s business imperatives.
This course aims to enhance practitioners’ skills and build expertise required for the successful implementation of outsourced IT projects through an intensive training programme with case-based workshops and experience-sharing sessions. This course will cover each phase of the outsourcing process, from planning to execution to completion, providing client and service provider perspectives. It also highlights the latest industry trends and best practices.
