Temasek Holdings frequently engages Professor Aneel Karnani, who is the Chair of Strategy at University of Michigan and also one of our leading faculty directors at Clariden Global, to conduct Implementing Growth Strategies in Asia program for their potential leaders. In this program, Temasek also invites emerging leaders from their affiliate companies such as DBS, PSA, Mapletree to participate. The purpose of this program is to grow their key executives to the next critical leadership level by equipping them with the strategic framework to identify the direction and mode of growth of their business (e.g. market penetration, globalization, organic growth or strategic alliances) and also be prepared for organizational challenges they will face in implementing growth strategies. Due to the increasing demand for this program and positive feedback from past participants, we have engaged Professor Aneel Karnani to lead the Implementing Growth Strategies in Asia program for Clariden in November on an open enrollment. One of Professor Aneel’s former students at Standard and Poor’s highlighted, “Professor Karnani was my strategy professor at University of Michigan. I still use many of his techniques, even though it has been 25 years, since I graduated”.
