Who’s the fairest of them all?

HRM 20 Dec 2012

Diversity and fairness in hiring are two important tenets of a modern best-practice employer. These finalists are leading the way in both areas. The Fair Employment Practices Award recognises employers who have made substantial efforts to hire and retain talents fairly.

Finalists must not only have non-discriminatory recruitment practices, but must also have policies in place to ensure that other HR and employment processes are fair and non-discriminatory. Firms also ought to have effective internal communication of all fair employment practices and diversity initiatives that are in line with business objectives.

So, among all our worthy finalists – who is the fairest of them all?

Finalists:

  • Barclays Bank
  • Crowne Plaza Changi Airport
  • FedEx Express
  • Goldman Sachs (Singapore)
  • Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium
  • Mondelēz Asia Pacific
  • National Environment Agency (NEA)
  • Philips Singapore
  • RHTLaw Taylor Wessing LLP
  • Singapore Marriott Hotel
  • Standard Chartered Bank
  • The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore
  • UBS Singapore
