Most overused buzzwords by Singapore professionals

Do you describe yourself as “creative” or “motivated” on your professional profile? Terms like these may no longer differentiate you from the rest of the pack, according to the latest survey by LinkedIn.

The No. 1 most overused buzzword in LinkedIn Profiles globally, as well as for professionals based in Singapore is “creative.”  The word “motivated” maintained second place locally, while last year’s top overused buzzword “track record” fell to No.3.

This is the third year that LinkedIn has issued its buzzwords ranking, and the second year that it has conducted the study in Singapore. In LinkedIn’s 2010 study, buzzwords like “extensive experience,” “dynamic”, “motivated”, and “innovative” were among the most overused buzzwords in various countries.
