Our client, a global MNC is looking for a senior candidate to join the HR team who will contribute to their business through the provision of HR business partnering for several business and function groups.
Reporting to the Asean HR Manager and partnering Asia/Global business heads for the sector of your responsibility, you will lead the overall HR strategy and execution, serving as HR business partner, change facilitator, and trusted advisor to the business. You will be expected to work independently in a highly matrix environment, look into areas of improvement and propose solutions. Key focus areas include employee engagement, talent management, change management and harmonization of regional initiatives.
The successful applicant will be a degree qualified HR professional with a minimum of 10 years of generalist HR experience of which at least 5 years should be in a regional business partner capacity. You excel at building relationships and will partner a wide range of managers. You need to be able to work with a diverse group of stakeholders, across functions and sectors and have experience in matrix, fast moving environments. You possess excellent communication and influencing skills, are independent and a self starter. The ability to initiate and drive solutions is essential along with a strategic perspective whilst maintaining a hands-on approach. Please note that candidates with industrial relations experience would be a plus.
