About Our Client
We are delighted to be retained with a tech start-up who has achieved unicorn status in 2017, cashflow positive and consecutively profitable since 2015. Partnering with Fortune/Global 500 MNCs, they are experiencing overwhelming subscription to their services and platforms and they are setting their sights further to expand their business multi-fold. They are currently looking to find a Regional Head of HR who can support their growth in Asia region.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be tasked with the set-up of the HR team in SEA. They have something rudimentary in place, however they require a much stronger HR structure to sustain their expansion. In the initial phase, the key focus would be to lead, plan and execute hiring efforts, to fill the organization with like-minded individuals who can propel the business forward. Concurrently and/or subsequently, the focus will move towards providing sound HR advisory to the business and continue on fostering stronger HR tools such as talent management, employee development, performance management and employee engagement. You will need to be a visionary HR Leader with a passion for people, and someone who can inspire and influence change in the organisation. The Successful Applicant
Ideally, you possess a minimum of 10 years of Human Resources experience equipped with a degree in HR or its equivalence. The successful applicant should be ready to be both operational and strategic as this position would require the rolling up of sleeves to set up things from scratch. Having prior experience in an e-commerce, tech or start-up environment would be necessary to the success of this role. You should have the innate ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities with strong stakeholder management skills to build relationships and influence through those relationships. We are open to consider relocating candidates, however the Tech Start up experience for candidates is highly valuable to the success of your application.
