Reporting to the Chief HR Officer, you will lead a lean team to drive the Group’s APAC Rewards strategies in support of evolving business needs. As a regional leader, you will be expected to pay close attention to shifting market condition and how they affect the organization’s talent base in relation to existing plans and pivot effectively to attract new talent. You will work closely with the Executive Board and Global Compensation Committee on Executive Compensation plans and develop broader policies around salary planning, performance analysis, health and wellness, and retirement programs. Furthermore, you will also partner with Business Leaders and Mergers & Acquisitions team to analyze and negotiate issues relating to the evaluation of potential acquisitions targets. As it’s a newly created role there will be significant opportunity to help build and shape the rewards function across the region while partnering closely with the HRBPs on the ground.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a proven leader with executive presence and astute commercial mind and the ability to effectively partner with HR, Business Leaders and Vendors. APAC experience and Mandarin language is compulsory due to China market and ideally international exposure. Work experience in a large scale (>15,000 workforce), highly matrixed international work environment is a must. You will possess extensive managerial experience and the ability to communicate complex principles effectively at all levels within the organization. This role would suit an individual who thrives in a fast paced, results driven environment and who works well in time critical situations.
