Country HR Manager (Based in Port Klang/ Pasir Gudang, Malaysia)
About Our Client
Our client is one of the world’s largest food ingredient producers with close to 10,000 employees worldwide and strong presence in more than 30 countries. For sustainable business continuity, they are looking for a Country HR Manager to be based in Malaysia to oversee both its Corporate and Manufacturing operations.
Reporting to the Plant Managing Directors and functionally to the CHRO, you will be an adviser and business partner for local management to deliver strategic HR plan which include employee engagement, people attraction, retention and leadership development. Leading a sizeable team across the different plants and corporate office, you will ensure smooth delivery of recruitment, workforce planning, labor relations, compensation and benefits as well as learning and development. As a Business Partner, you will partner the plant line managers in resolving conflicts, disciplinary actions, grievances and negotiations with the union.
The Successful Applicant
You need to have minimum 8 years of working experience in a manufacturing unionised environment with strong knowledge in Malaysian labour law and legal regulations. Experience partnering the Supply Chain operation in a manufacturing setup will be your key to success. Last but not least, experience working with similar type of food ingredient manufacturer is a pre-requisite.
