Responsibilities:
 
General Outline
  • Ensure consistent management of human assets to maintain harmonious working environment by establishing and implementing a quality human resources management system and policies
  • Escalate non-resolved issues to Regional Vice President, Human Resources for assistance and advise the line managers in stores & HODs on HR issues
  • Ensure HR policies and guideline are communicated and executed to staff in general.
  • Promote good discipline among staff by developing a proper and effective disciplinary systems and guidelines
  • Responsible for communicating the key Learning & Development gaps to the Regional Vice President, Human Resources based on discussion with the HODs and Store Managers
  • Play an active role on organizational development by identifying potential employee and monitor them by systematic and manageable approach as per the approved Corporate HR policies (succession plan, ranking system, fast track program, etc)
  • Responsible for obtaining approval from RVP, HR to proceed with recruitment based on the approved headcount. Responsible for the recruitment of managerial level positions while ensuring that recruitment of staff positions are achieved as per the target dates specified by hiring managers/HODs, while maintaining quality throughout the process to ensure the company got the best employees form the available market.
  • Maintain up-to-date recruitment progress report, talent database and all related staffing communication to the RVP, HR and COO
  • Managing the on boarding programs for new employees based on the L&D Academy plan to ensure assimilation of new employees.
  • Responsible to keep abreast market salaries & benefits and other updates of staff within the luxury retail industry retail industry versus the compensation trend in general
  • Responsible for ensuring that time & attendance and HRIQ is used effectively by all staff and to ensure that to make sure the system is running well and complies with the requirements
  • Supports the execution accordingly together with HR Shared Service Centre based in regional office in KL
  • Identifies and highlights process incidents to HR Shared Service Centre and supports the problem solving
  • Monitors HR processes in Singapore in terms of solution orientation and cost efficiency
  • Maintain consistent quality on HR related measurements such as FTE, attrition and productivity measurements. Submit accurate data for these reports in due time, work with related departments to make sure the store performance meets the management directives.
  • Ensure the HO managers are meeting the deadlines for the preparation and submission of HR related reports (such as Performance Appraisal submissions for confirmation) to the respective department
  • Maintain contact and coordination with MOM, Immigration and other law enforcement authorities in relation to the Human Resource function
  • Responsible for general administration and office management
  • Perform any other tasks not specified herewith as required / instructed by supervisor / management

  • To conduct staff appraisal and quarterly performance review of team members while escalation is made on poor performance or non- adherence to HR policies in general.
  • To improve staff morale leading to positive and dynamic working attitude and environment
  • To maintain general and acceptable staff working conditions
  • To support all business units to maintain effective budget controls

Requirements:
 
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
  • Required language(s): English
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Managers specializing in Human Resources or equivalent.
