Archipelago Resources is a mid-cap Gold Producer listed on the Alternative Industries Market of the London Stock Exchange. Our corporate headquarters is located in Singapore, and we have a full production gold project located in the North Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. Our gold project employs approximately 800 employees across a range of functions including: geology, mining, metallurgy, project management, health & safety, environmental management, security and community relations.
Senior HR Consultant Requirements & Position Description
Archipelago Resources are presently seeking to hire a Senior HR Consultant on an initial 6 month contract to work with our on-site HR team with a view of developing their strategic and business partnering capabilities. Key to this role will be the ability to implement systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency of the HR team, and to deliver key strategic projects whilst mentoring team members to develop their skills. To be successful in this role, candidates will need to demonstrate the following:

Degree qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years’ post-graduate experience working in Human Resources either in a consulting or multi-national team environment.
Demonstrable experience in business partnering, human resource consulting, stakeholder management and coaching other human resource team members to develop skills in an outcomes-driven environment.
Previous experience in developing and implementing Human Resource policies and procedures.
Demonstrable experience in managing significant cultural change within a fast paced environment.
Demonstrable project management skills focused on the timely delivery of quality outcomes.
Previous experience working in a greenfields HR environment, establishing best practice processes and matrices from scratch, and instilling a professional business partnering culture within the HR team.
A competitive salary package, including a completion bonus based upon the delivery of outcomes, will be offered to the successful candidate. Candidates are expected to spend the majority of their time (at least three weeks per month) on site working directly with the local team. Whilst on site in Indonesia, accommodation and meals will be provided. Rotational flights will be provided once per month. The successful candidate will also be provided with international standard health insurance coverage.
