Our client is currently undergoing a large-scale regional payroll project will require you to have a proven track record in achieving outstanding results in either working through a major outsourced payroll project or complex in-house payroll process review.

In this role, you will be charged managing and overseeing the full system develop process - mapping current payroll processes and creating a blueprint for the forthcoming payroll migration to an external vendor.   You will work closely with the vendor to design and implement the new system and processes, effectively communicate milestones and updates, and train end users.  Develop the project schedule and coordinate the activities of the project team.  Ensure adherence to project management standard processes and compliance to quality assurance policies.

This role will be heavily focused on payroll transformation for the next 12-18 months and, longer term, anticipated to develop into a wider HR operations role.

 The successful candidate will have a high level of familiarity with payroll systems and project management.  Some regional tax knowledge will be highly desirable. Naturally, you will have demonstrated ability to influence vendors and client relations, and establishing project expectations.
