Regional HR Operations Manager

Our client is a major player within the financial services industry with an eye on Asia as the key to its growth strategy.  As part of their expansion plans, they are seeking  an experienced HR Operations Manager for the Asia Pacific region.

Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery, your role will be to provide leadership and coordination for the Asia Pacific regional HR business operations. You will lead several concurrent shared service initiatives and align them with the HR Operations in the region. You will be responsible largely for payroll operations, compliance, risks and audit preparation for the region.  Partnering with COEs, HR Business Partners and functional units, you will identify, streamline and enhance operational efficiencies for the regional HR office while managing the overall budget for the year. You will also drive ad-hoc program improvement initiatives that are rolled out regionally and/or globally when required. 

The ideal candidate should possess at least 8 years experience in operations management, service delivery, business process re-engineering or equivalent consulting experience. Significant experience in managing and delivering service operations engagements in Asia Pacific with hands on experience is a must, as is proven experience in HR operations covering payroll, reporting and budgeting. You should have over 5 years of project management experience preferably with a strong focus in operations and shared services. A strong leader with the ability to drive change, you should have at least 3 years direct experience in managing an international team. Excellent facilitation and presentation skills will hold you in good stead for this role.
