Primary Purpose
  •  Establish a robust people development platform and program for the SEA
  • Manage all people development programs and overall administration training and people development
  • Establish structure to build training capability in-house, and set-up required facility to execute hands-on programs
  • Aligns and executes required development plans for the Talent Management and Organization and People Review process
  • Tracks and measures the effectiveness of Employee Development Programs as well as customer/distributor development programs
  • Develops capability building and key KPIs to measure people development initiatives
  • Establishes strategic partnership program with key learning institutions/universities
  • Working closely with the marketing and country organizations to manage product training modules with regard to new product launches, applications, working practices and specific training requirements.
Job Responsibilities
  •  Partner key stakeholders to develop required product training modules and soft skills programs
  • Establish the annual training plan and events calendar
  • Administers all training related matters including pre-course preparation and post course follow-up, claims for government subsidies
  • Support the Talent Management review and process to develop and elevate current talent pool
  • Establish training gap analysis and training calendar to manage training for the SEA team
  • Plans and implements internal product training for all product brands
  • Plans and implements external product training to customers and drives our training reputation and business requirements forward
  • Responsible for new hire on-boarding program
  • Supports key annual events including Road Shows, Tool Expos, Customer Expos and Field Days
  • Qualifies training partners/programs

  •  Degree preferred in an related discipline
  • Hands-on experience in people development / competency development
  • Added advantage on experience in the consumer products / tools industry or other technical related industries
  • Solid experience in training delivery for both internal and external customers
  • Advanced communication, presentation, oral and written skills with strong computer literacy
  • Able to travel extensively within the region
