Primary Function:

 

  • Lead the country relocation process to ensure efficient and smooth transitions for all assignees. 
  • To develop and implement consistent best practice country policies based on internal and external benchmarking
  • Act as single point of contact for assignees

 

Global Mobility Asia Pacific

 

  • Advises and consults with BU/Function HR and management regarding Cargill mobility processes and policies. Assesses individual assignment requirements providing guidance to the appropriate compensation template. Documents arrangements in assignment letter, creates employee file in expatriate software systems and implements policy deviation process when appropriate.
  • Assist with preparation and communication of assignment cost projections.
  • Conducts assignee orientation session providing information on related policies, benefits and pay package calculations. Provide information/support to family members as requested.
  • Maintains single contact with assignees during assignment. Monitors changes in pay package and ensures effective communications with assignee.
  • Ad hoc on specific mobility projects
  • Provide guidance/mentoring to specified country expat co-ordinators
  • Provide mobility expertise for specified countries within Asia Pacific.

 

Country Relocation

 

  • Manage the entire relocation process for inbound and outbound Singapore assignees, ensuring efficient and satisfying experience
  • Responsible for resolving and approving policy administration and issues, meeting the assignee’ needs and corporate governance.
  • Manage performance of relocation vendors ensuring service level agreement is met.  
  • Responsible in developing and reviewing country HR policies pertaining to relocation.
  • Manage year-end tax reporting and to ensure in compliance with country regulations and tax laws.
  • Work with Corporate Accounting and Controllers on all assignees’ budgeting.
  • Provide tax consultation on localization of expatriates.
  • Champion the on-boarding programs for expatriates.
  • Provide a single point of contact for global mobility issues

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within a similar role, either in an in-house multinational environment or providing similar consultancy service through one of the top notch consultancy firm
  • Possess a well developed understanding of the issues surrounding international mobility (including tax) and a proven ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines

 

 

Skills/Knowledge:

 

  • Proven analytical skills sufficient to ensure compensation package modeling and tax calculations are accurate.
  • High level of tact and ability to handle sensitive compensation and financial information.
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to communicate effectively cross-culturally and to all levels of employees.
  • Ability to be flexible in a changing environment and to interface effectively within and cross-functionally in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated track record in promoting an inclusive environment and seeking ways to integrate differences.

 

 

Education/Qualification:

  •  Degree qualified or equivalent
