HR Director
Location: Singapore
Report to: VP of HR
This organisation is a leader in their field, able to offer their customers full end to end services due to organic growth and acquisition of strategic business entities. With a solid grounding in Asia Pacific, and while working with premium Blue Chip companies globally, they seek to build a state-of-the-art HR Business Partnering model to support to fast growing business.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP of HR for the region, the HR Director will act as a business partner in providing solutions and advice to internal customers on areas relating to performance management, employee relations and engagement. He/she will be a change agent in taking on HR projects with regards to people strategies to value add to the business. Being part of due diligence projects and M&A programs the incumbent will be at the forefront with the business to ensure appropriate business strategy is applied. Key responsibilities include:

Provide human resources direction and support to the Singapore leadership team and employees

Partner with the business to understand key business challenges and organization needs, and delivering HR programs to address challenges

Collaborate with business unit HR teams on continuous improvement initiatives on key processes

Lead and facilitate change initiatives through the use of HR consultation skills

Provide advice and counsel managers on a variety of topics to optimize employee engagement, team development and organizational effectiveness

Lead in coaching and training supervision on how to manage their employees

Objectively assess and bring to resolution employee relations issues and ensuring disciplinary procedures are executed appropriately
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent;

At least 10 years of strategic HR business partnering experience with good leadership and management skills

Good people management and strong knowledge of the local employment act and legislations;

A change agent, someone who is able to operate in a fast paced environment while executing change process

Bilingual in both English and Mandarin
