My client is a one of the largest multinational Pharmaceuticals in the world.  They have recently opened a new position for a Compensation Manager to be based in Singapore, covering a regional portfolio. This will initially be on a 1 year contract, which will be reviewed.
A newly created role, this position reports directly to the Regional Rewards Director based in Shanghai, with a dotted line report to the Regional HR Director.
The role will support the business on Compensation and Performance Management related queries, delivering relevant data and reporting where necessary.
The role covers the following: -
  • Implementation and delivery of the reward policy, across the region
  • Ensuring alignment with the business objectives and offering up ideas for changes/improvements
  • Assisting the strategic direction of the company wide rewards program
  • Keep an up to date knowledge of external rewards environment, including best practice and regulatory changes
  • Manage and deliver on financial budgets
  • Support compensation for global mobility
This role will involve working closely with key stakeholders in the business, acting as an initial go to point for queries in the region.
The ideal candidate will:-
  • Be educated to Degree Level
  • Possess at least 5 years experience in Reward Management
  • Be well spoken and possess strong communication skills
  • Be strong in Excel
  • Ideally have had previous regional exposure
  • Ideally hold a formal Post Graduate Qualification
