Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate Asia Pacific jobs using a market pricing system.  Assist with special job evaluation projects such as functional or department job evaluation reviews. 
  • Assist in preparing the annual salary plans for Asia Pacific countries, including collecting and analyzing market data and evaluating potential impact of proposed structures on incumbent pay. Partner with HRBP to participate in Asia Pacific compensation and salary planning surveys throughout the year with survey providers.  Participate in ad-hoc regional surveys or local surveys as needed.  Perform ad hoc analysis for costing, program effectiveness and trend purposes.
  • Manage the validation process for corporate and local bonus in conjunction with local HR and Corporate compensation. Maintain bonus plan documentation for Asia Pacific non-sales plans and manage local bonus tool for employee data, calculation metrics and final payouts in line with policy. Provide input in recommending plan design changes as needed. Partner with HRBPs to develop local variable bonus/incentive programs.
  • Provide support in preparing the annual sales compensation plan for Asia Pacific including collecting and analyzing market data, evaluating fixed and variable pay structures and recommending changes in line with sales compensation strategy.
  • Partner with HRBP to review, develop and redesign benefits programs and analyzing benefits cost against market data. Maintain benefits policy documentation and information across Asia Pacific. Monitor benefits policy and employee insurance renewals with Mercer and track progress and savings year on year.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree.  MBA or other advanced degree a plus. 
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant experience to act as a resource particularly regarding rewards management issues is a must.
  • An independent individual, you must be hands-on and possess high level of energy, dynamism and professional skills to function effectively and independently in a demanding, fast-paced change-oriented environment.
  • Good understanding of the principles and practices of compensation and benefits systems and legislation in Asia Pacific
  • Extremely strong analytical problem solving skills and quantitative skills with the ability to break down multi-dimensional problems or processes into component parts and develop several solutions.
  • Highly detailed driven with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Highly proficient in Excel.  Able to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data
  • Good project management skills.
