A prominent global bank is looking for an experienced recruiter to join their Singapore team.  Reporting into the Head of Resourcing, successful candidates can come from either an in-house or agency background, but will have extensive experience in recruiting into the banking sector, and will have focused on the back and middle office functions.

Key competencies include:

  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process; including filling allocated roles; assisting identifying needs in the business; adhering to internal policies and standards;
  • Working closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to identify requirements
  • Producing regular reports and updates to hiring managers
  • Implement best-practice into recruiting process, enforcing this with business units
  • Manage resourcing methods including direct sourcing, internal referrals, supplier and agency management (where appropriate)
  • Utilise relevant selection and interview tools – advise the business on how to best approach interview process
  • Ensure hiring managers use relevant methods and techniques; coaching and supporting where necessary
  • Manage hiring manager and candidate throughout interview and offer process
  • Oversee onboarding

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate experience in handling high-volume recruitment into the financial services sector, ideally covering middle to senior level hires.  Exposure to the Asian financial services market is preferred and experience in back and middle office areas is essential.  Candidates will be competent at multitasking, skilled at handling conflicting priorities and adhering to tight deadlines.  Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial, as is the ability to develop and sustain relationships with internal stakeholders integral to the recruitment process.
