3. Discrimination and harassment

Discrimination in employment on the ground of trade union membership is prohibited.

Sexual harassment is dealt with in detail by the Code of Practice on the Prevention and Eradication of Sexual Harassment in the Workplace (which does not have force of law but provides non-binding guidelines for employers). This Code of Practice prohibits any forms of sexual conduct that might be perceived as an offense, humiliation or threat, despite having no direct link to employment.
