Readers' Choice Awards: Best Consultancy – HR Advisory

Winner HR Guru has gone the extra mile in what is a highly-niche marketplace.

HR consultants usually offer business-to-business services to their clients.

However, HR Guru has undertaken a different approach.

The organisation, which took home the Best Consultancy – HR Advisory award, is one of the few, if not the only HR consulting firm, that offers business-to-consumer HR advisory services.

“As an HR personal advisor, we solve our clients’ problems by offering independent, practical, and pragmatic professional advice, expert consultation and customised solutions for even the most complex HR challenges and people issues,” said Tommy Ng, Founder of HR Guru (pictured).

“There are very few companies out there that offer such HR advisory services and people who know us come to us directly because of the unique services we offer.”

“One of our most unique selling propositions is that HR Guru has assembled a team of award-winning HR experts, who possess a wide range of strategic and functional HR skills and deep knowledge and understanding of today’s complex HR challenges and people issues.”

Ng said he and his team were absolutely delighted to win in this category.

“We truly appreciate being recognised by our valued clients, especially given the fact that we are a new company,” Ng said.  We want to take this opportunity to thank our clients for believing in us, and entrusting their confidence in us.”

He noted that as advisory services constitute business-to-consumer entities, customer interactions and referrals are crucial.

“We will continue to leverage on what we have achieved so far, getting greater reach through word of mouth, and through a social media presence,” Ng added.

HRM Asia's Readers Choice Awards were presented on September 8. All of the winners will be unveiled in the special Readers Choice Awards forum.
