Antoinette HamiltonAntoinette Hamilton, Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Experience, AppNexus

Advertising technology company AppNexus has appointed Antoinette Hamilton to the role of Vice President, Diversity, Inclusion and Community Experience. This is a newly-created position.

Hamilton will spearhead initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive global community within AppNexus, broaden the range of the company’s talent pipeline, and drive thought leadership, employee training, and best corporate practices.

She will head AppNexus’ Diversity & Inclusion Steering Committee, and joins AppNexus’ People Leadership Team and AppNexus’ Executive Team, reporting directly to Nithya Das, Chief People and Legal Officer.

Prior to her appointment, Hamilton served as the Assistant Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion at L’Oréal USA, which she joined in 2004. A member of the team that established L’Oréal’s strategic approach to diversity and inclusion, she partnered with business units to form best practices in diversity management and employee engagement, and to develop training, recruitment, and communication strategies, practices, and metrics for all L’Oréal USA divisions.

In 2017, AppNexus created and publicly shared KPIs for its diversity and inclusion metrics. The appointment of a Director of Diversity and Inclusion was among these goals.

Akinori Nishiyama, Chief HR Officer, AnyMind Group

Akinori Nishiyama has taken on the role of Chief HR Officer at Singapore-headquartered AnyMind Group, an artificial intelligence solutions provider.

Nishiyama will be tasked with leading AnyMind Group’s global HR function – developing, implementing and standardising HR policies across the organisation. His responsibilities include driving talent development, employee engagement and building a sustainable framework for HR work across AnyMind Group.

Having grown from a two-man team in April 2016 to the current 273 staff across its 10 offices in nine markets, AnyMind Group is targeting to reach 400 staff by the end of 2018.

“Both founders of AnyMind Group value staff as the top priority, and I am confident of building on this. We will organise around three key areas: First, we want to develop a framework for HR policy across the organisation. We will then identify and develop an internal pipeline of high performing talent. Lastly, we will create a sustainable work environment and company identity,” said Nishiyama.

Prior to joining AnyMind Group, Nishiyama was director of MicroAd, Inc. and CEO of MicroAd Plus, Inc., and held a leadership role at CyberAgent.
