Latest HR moves at IBM and Oakwood

Here are some of this week's latest promotions and job moves within the Asia-Pacific HR industry.

Craig SimmonsCraig Simmons, senior vice president and chief HR officer, Oakwood Worldwide

Craig Simmons has been appointed senior vice president and chief HR officer at apartment solutions provider Oakwood Worldwide.

Simmons has more than 25 years’ experience and was most recently CHRO for American Apparel. In that role he implemented company-wide strategic initiatives, provided guidance and mentoring to a world-class HR team and led the organisation through challenging change initiatives.

He has been an HR leader for the Screen Actors Guild Pension & Health Plans, Catholic Healthcare West, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Nestlé and has had his own consulting company.

Simmons will report directly to Chris Ahearn, CEO, Oakwood Worldwide.

Craig StewartCraig Stewart, IBM A/NZ Transformation Architect, IBM Australia Limited

Stewart took on the role of transformation architect for Australia and New Zealand at IBM Australia Limited in May 2017.

In this role, he leads a small Transformation team tasked with guiding the progress of the many workstreams in flight, coordinating with the Leadership team to keep them on track and celebrating those signature moments and key milestones in this change.

Stewart has been in HR-related roles for almost 20 years, joining IBM in 2006.
