Nadiah AbdullahNadiah Abdullah, Group Head of People Relations, People & Culture at AirAsia

Nadiah Abdullah is now the Group Head of People Relations at Malaysian budget airline AirAsia.

Abdullah joins the people and culture team at the corporate headquarters.

She was previously with Sime Darby for more than seven years, most recently as the Senior Vice President, Group Leadership & Talent, Sime Darby Leadership Centre, Group HR.

There, she was instrumental in steering the talent strategy to effectively attract, identify, and nurture talent in Sime Darby Group towards achieving high-performance organisation.

Prior to Sime Darby, Abdullah was with Accenture for 17 years. Throughout her career, she has undertaken multitude of roles ranging from Program Director, Project Manager, Client Relationship, Sales & Business Development Director, to Solution Architect and Subject Matter Expert in various portfolios.

Bruna FontesBruna Fontes, Staffing Channels Specialist, Asia-Pacific at Google

Bruna Fontes has taken on the role of Staffing Channels Specialist for Asia-Pacific at Google.

Fontes joins from International SOS, where she was its talent specialist for almost three years. In that role, she supported talent management initiatives and HR-related needs of the Medical Services (MS) Business Line globally.

Hailing from Portugal, she has held various HR and corporate positions in companies located in Europe and Asia.

Ian LooIan Loo, Lead Recruiter, RedMart

Ian Loo has joined online grocery store RedMart as Lead Recruiter, based in Singapore.

Prior to this role, he was the talent acquisition manager at computer hardware manufacturer HGST for two years.

He writes that he is a customer and result-oriented HR professional with experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, internal communications, international assignments as well as in-business HR.

His specialities include talent acquisition, internal communications, event-organising, employee relations and HR branding.
